Brhands Foundation, the most recent Portuguese institution to honor and promote the excellence of craftsmanship, is proud to announce the participation at the Homo Faber event, the first major cultural exhibition dedicated to European craftsmanship, organized by Michelangelo Foundation, next 14-30 September in Venice, at Fondazione Giorgio Cini. Home Faber is an event organized by the leading Swiss-based entity Michelangelo Foundation. Is the premier event organized by the Michelangelo Foundation, an international non- profit organization based in Geneva, Switzerland, which was set up to celebrate and preserve master craftsmanship around the world and strengthen its connection to design.

The Foundation aims to support those who dedicate themselves to the pursuit of master craftsmanship and to foster a new cultural movement built around the values that are essential for their work. With this in mind, these exclusive event is regarded as the major cultural exhibition dedicated to European craftsmanship.

See exquisite objects handmade by some of the finest artisans working in Europe today, from jewelry to furniture to bespoke bicycles. The ideas promoted by Homo Faber and consider why it’s so important to craft a more human future. They include Johann Rupert and Franco Cologni, the founders of the Geneva-based Michelangelo Foundation, organizer of Homo Faber.
